Born in 1904 in the port city of Triest, “Nonno” Ervino was an entrepreneur, father and well-travelled man, who enjoyed the finer things in life. As an entrepreneur, he was always seeking opportunities and constantly improving himself. Ervino was a witty man and devoted father, who enjoyed home-cooked meals. He loved his bubbly so much that the ceiling above his dining chair was full marks from popping the Champagnes.
